Arthur Connolly
Arthur Connolly was a
British captain who worked for the
British East India Company. He was executed along with fellow British officer Charles Stoddart by the

Bukhara, Nasrullah Khan in
1842 for spying for the
British Empire. He is often credited for inventing the term
Great Game to describe the struggle between the British Empire and Russia for domination over Central Asia.
