The AE2 was an E-class submarine built by Vickers Armstrong at Barrow-in-Furness in England, launched on 18 June 1913 and commissioned on 28 February 1914. The AE2, commanded by Lieutenant Commander Henry Dacre Stoker, RAN, was damaged in an attack by the Turkish torpedo boat Sultan Hizar in Artaki Bay in the Sea of Marmora on 29 April 1915 and was scuttled by her crew.
