The Ayr mountains is a triangular massif, located in northern Niger. The town of Agadez in heart of the Tuareg country is the capital of Ayr. The population of Ayr lead a nomadic live, relying essentially on camel and goat from which they take milk, meat and skins used in the production of local handicrafts. Agriculture products from oasis Timia and Tabelot are exchanged against clothes, or salt, brought by camel caravans from the remote oasis of Bilma and Fachi.
