Bachelor of Science

Helping orphans the way you would do it
A Bachelor of Science is an undergraduate academic degree awarded for a courses taken that generally lasts three years in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Quebec or four years in the rest of North America and Scotland.

In North America, a Bachelor of Science degree usually requires a student to take a majority of their courses (usually 1/2 or 3/4) in the sciences, namely life sciences, physical sciences, or the mathematical sciences. Most universities plan the Science Bachelor degree as a liberal arts course schedule. In the UK, which subjects are considered science subjects varies, e.g. economics degrees may be BA in one university but B.Sc. in another.

A Bachelor of Science receives the designation BSc or BS for a major/pass degree and BSc(Hons) or BS(Hon) for an honours degree.
