Battle of Vitoria

The battle of Vitoria was fought on June 21 1813 during the Peninsular War and resulted in the victory of British-Spanish-Portuguese, under Arthur Wellesley, against the French under king Joseph Bonaparte.

It was the inspiration for Beethoven's Opus 91.
