Chinkapin oak
The Chinkapin oak (Quercus muehlenbergii) is a broadleaved tree. Its leaves are coarse and dark, it produces acorns 1/2 to 1 inch in length, and the trunk has thin, flaky bark. The tree grows to 60 feet in height, with a rounded crown.See also Chestnut oak
