Cockermouth is a town in Cumbria, England, where the River Cocker flows into the River Derwent.

The town is best known as the birthplace of William Wordsworth and John Grayston, while other attractions include Printing House and a toy museum. It is also home to the famous Jenning's brewery.

Cockermouth also has a number of primary schools, a secondary school and several churches.

Recently, a Sainsburys supermarket store opened in the town attracting further commerce and industry to the town and region. It is theorised that Cockermouth will grow to rival other towns in the region such as Whitehaven, Workington and Kendal.
