Dijon
Dijon (population 154,000) is a city in eastern France, the préfecture (administrative capital) of the Côte-d'Or département and of the Burgundy region, of which it is the historical capital. The greater Dijon area had about 240,000 inhabitants in 1999.The city is well known for its mustard, even though nowadays mustard seeds are largely imported and most Dijon mustard is not produced in the Dijon region anyway.
