Ed, Edd n Eddy
Ed, Edd n Eddy is an
animated series produced by
a.k.a. Cartoon for the
Cartoon Network. The premise is that three friends—named Ed, Edd, and Eddy (collectively known as "the Eds")—hang around in their suburban neighborhood of Peach Creek Estates. Led by Eddy, the Eds scheme to make money off their peers, but their plans usually fail, leaving them in various predicaments. The characters almost never leave the neighborhood, and adults are nowhere to be found.
The series was first aired in 1999 on Cartoon Network and has since attracted millions of fans worldwide. Originally, there were to only be four seasons; Cartoon Network, however, has ordered two more seasons of Ed, Edd n Eddy, bringing the series' length to six seasons. There will also be three holiday specials: Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's Day.
An interesting note about Ed, Edd n Eddy is that it is animated using cel animation, while most cartoons are now aminated using 2D computer animation.
Characters
- Ed, "harebrained," likes buttered toast, gravy, and monster movies,in "It Came From Outer Ed",he sent his group to trouble instead.
- Edd (a.k.a. Double D or Double Dee), inventor and is very clean is supposed to be the leader,but it seems like Eddy recomputated to himself.Double D has a high IQ,and is charmed by caring.
- Eddy, incompetent juvenile con artist, wants to get enough money to buy jawbreakers,also leads the Eds to no good.
- Sarah, Ed's bad-tempered sister, has a crush on Double D,also a hater of males(except Double D)
- Jimmy, aspiring artist, likes playing dollies with Sarah,also a weakling.
- Rolf, of foreign culture with odd customs, enjoys farming, leads a scouting group called the Urban Rangers, son of a shepherd(in his culture),confuses other cul-de-sac kids.
- Jonny, likes collecting clams, carries Plank around, has a huge head,one time,he was called"Captain Melonhead".
- Plank, a piece of plywood with drawn-on eyes and mouth, likes to mess with the Eds,Plank was a bad character once.
- Nazz, the more mature girl in the cul-de-sac, hangs out with Kevin,discovered she was a good person,sometimes the dimwit,others climb 50 degrees,while she is at 30 degrees.
- Kevin, the "cool" kid, calls the Eds dorks, watches 60 Minutes,most commonly known as the baddest on on the Earth.
- Lee, Marie, and May (collectively known as the Kanker Sisters) have a crush on the Eds. They live in a nearby trailer park.The others are scared of the Kanker Sisters,
