Encyclopedia of Life Sciences is an online
encyclopedia of
biology owned by Nature Publishing Group. Access requires a subscription, though free sample articles are available. Articles are written by experts in their relative fields, and are of three levels:
- Introductory Articles articles are aimed at UK undergraduates, US college freshmen/sophomores and non-specialist readers.
- Advanced Articles are aimed at advanced undergraduates, graduates and researchers.
- Keynote Articles are written from a personal viewpoint and discuss unique and often controversial topics of special interest in the life sciences.
