Flag of Pakistan

The National flag of Pakistan was designed by Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and was adopted upon independence on August 14, 1947. The green section represents Muslims, while the white section represents non-Muslim minorities. The crescent represents progress; the star symbolizes light and knowledge.
