Gistel
Gistel is a
municipality located in the
Belgian province of
West Flanders. The municipality comprises the city of Gistel proper and the towns of Moere, Snaaskerke and Zevekote. On January 1st, 2000 Gistel had a total population of 11,085 (5,470 males and 5,615 females). The total area is 42.62
km² which gives a
population density of 260.09 inhabitants per km².
