The Horn of Africa is a triangle-shaped peninsula in the far east of the continent, containing the countries Djibouti, Ethiopia, Eritrea, and Somalia. It extends into the Gulf of Aden south of the Arabian Peninsula (Yemen) and the Bab-el-Mandeb strait.
