Guinness World Record

The Al-Ansar club won 11 consecutive league titles between 1988 and 1999 inclusive.

International Players

Roda Antar in Freiburg, Germany.. He used to play with the lebanese club Tadamon Sour, then went to Hambourg (Germany). Pierre Issa, played in the World Cup twice in 1998 and 2002 (with the South African team), he is Lebanese but also has a South African nationality. He now plays with Olympic Beirut.

In 1974, the famous Brasilian player PelÃÂ© played one match with Nejmeh. In 1975, Nejmeh won 2-1 over USSR champion's holder club.. Nejmeh is the most popular football club in Lebanon
