Maya Ying Lin (林瓔) (born October 10, 1959) is an Chinese American artist and architect.

She was born in Athens, Ohio and studied at Yale. By far her best known work, designed at the age of 21, is the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington DC; the cut stone masonry "Wall" officially opened to the public on November 11, 1982. Also, she was one of the members of the committee that selected the 9/11 memorial at Ground Zero in New York.

Lin also created the Civil Rights Memorial in Montgomery, Alabama.
