Michael Nicholson Lord (born October 17, 1938) is a British politician, and Conservative member of Parliament for Suffolk Central and Ipswich North.

He has been a deputy Speaker of the House of Commons since 1997, and therefore does not take political stances. Before his position, he was one of the Maastricht Rebels, and was seen as a socially conservative person, opposing homosexuality, and advocating the return of executions.
