Middelkerke
Middelkerke is a
municipality located in the
Belgian province of
West Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Leffinge, Lombardsijde, Mannekensvere, Middelkerke proper, Schore, Sint-Pieters-Kapelle, Slijpe,
Westende and Wilskerke. On January 1st, 2000 Middelkerke had a total population of 16,583 (8,096 males and 8,487 females). The total area is 76.01
km² which gives a
population density of 218.17 inhabitants per km².
