Pforzheim
Pforzheim is a city of 115,000 inhabitants in south-west Germany at the gate to the Black Forest. It is renowned for its jewelry-, gold- and clockwork industry.It has an area of 98 kmò and lies between the cities of Stuttgart and Karlsruhe at the confluence of three rivers (Enz, Nagold and Würm) and marks the frontier between Baden and Schwaben.
Cultural facilities include a multi-purpose theatre, a town library (in a new building), a museum for jewelry (Schmuckmuseum) and an University for Applied Sciences providing among others International (MBA) courses for foreign students .
