Qubilah Shabazz
Qubilah Shabazz is the daughter of
Malcolm X. She was arrested for the attempted murder of
Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the
Nation of Islam. She was accused of using a telephone and traveling between states to hire another person to carry out the murder. Charges were dropped
May 1,
1995. Her son Malcolm Shabazz was involved in an incident in which Qubilah's mother,
Betty Shabazz died in a fire on
June 30,
1997.
