River Cherwell

The River Cherwell, pronounced "Charwell", is an English river. It rises in Charwelton, close by Daventry, in Northamptonshire, and flows south to join the Thames at Oxford.

The river gives its name to the north Oxfordshire district of Cherwell, through which it flows.
