Robert McChesney
Robert McChesney is a leftist media critic and activist and professor of communication at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His works include The Problem of the Media: U.S. Communications Policy in the 21st Century; Rich Media, Poor Democracy: Communication Politics in Dubious Times; and Our Media, Not Theirs: The Democratic Struggle Against Corporate Media. He is founder of the media activism organization Free Press.
