Shojo-ai

Sponsorship the way you would do it
Shōjo-ai (少女愛, pronounced /So:dZoai/) (from shōjo, girl, and ai, love, coined by analogy with shonen-ai), refers to anime or manga that deals with love between teenage girls or young women. Shōjo-ai is usually thought of as less explicit or sexual than yuri, although the term is mainly used in the West and many Japanese fans do not bother with distinctions between the two.

Shōjo-ai is much less common than shōnen-ai; when it does appear, it is usually as part of shojo anime or manga. Series famous for shojo-ai content include Sailor Moon and Revolutionary Girl Utena; the latter focuses on a female couple.
