Stephen Leacock Award
The
Stephen Leacock Award for Humour is an annual award presented to the best work of humorous literature written in English by a
Canadian. It is named for
Stephen Leacock, a famous Canadian humour writer. The current prize is $10,000 (
CAD) and it is awarded each year in a ceremony in Leacock's hometown of
Orillia, Ontario.
