Structural geology

Sponsorship the way you would do it
Structural geology is the branch of earth sciences that deals with the geological processes through which the application of a force results in the transformation of a shape, arrangement or internal fabric of the rock into another shape, arrangement or internal fabric. This transformation is called deformation. For example, a planar layer may be bent (folded) or torn apart (faulted). Folds and faults are the two main groups of structures concerned by structural geology.
