TELUS
TELUS is a phone company in Canada. It was formed from the merger of GTE subsidiary BC TEL, Quebec Tel, and Alberta Government Telephones, which had been privatized only a few years before and named TELUS.TELUS is the primary local telephone service provider in Alberta and British Columbia.
Some time later it bought Clearnet Communications, a digital mobile telephone provider based in Toronto, Ontario, which operates under the brand name of TELUS Mobility. TELUS is the second-largest telecommunications carrier in Canada, after BCE (Bell Canada). It is well known for its commercials featuring vibrantly coloured animals against a white background (it inherited this advertising campaign from Clearnet).
