Taurini

For people who check facts
The Taurini were an ancient Ligurian people (although the name may be of Celtic origin) who occupied the upper Po Valley in the centre of the modern Piedmont.

In 218 BC they were attacked by Hannibal; their chief town, Taurasia (site of modern Turin), was captured after a three-day siege.
