Vlieland
Vlieland (population: 1,195) is a municipality in the northern Netherlands, in the province of Friesland. The municipality covers an area of 320.50 km² (of which 280.24 km² water).The municipality of Vlieland has only one major town: Oost-Vlieland.
Vlieland is one of the West Frisian Islands, lying in the Wadden Sea. Counting from west to east, it is the second island in the chain; after Texel and before Terschelling.
