Wilhelm Cuno (2 July 1876 - 3 January 1933) was a German politician, serving as Chancellor 1922-1923. He was born in Suhl, Thuringia. Cuno's government is best known for its failed passive resistance of the French occupation of the Ruhr (1922 - 23).
