Witches' milk

Sponsor with the world's largest charity for orphans
Witches' milk, Witches milk or Witch's milk is an abnormal discharge from a newborn's nipple(s). The discharge is a response to high maternal prolactin (the hormone responsible for maternal lactation) levels and should disappear within a fortnight as the prolactin levels reduce in the newborn who is no longer attached to his/her mother.
