World Book

World Book Encyclopedia, founded in 1917, is, according to their publishers, "the number-one selling print encyclopedia in the world" [1]. In addition to the regular encyclopedia, World Book also publishes a Student Discovery encyclopedia and an Animals of the World encyclopedia. The regular encyclopedia is also available in CD-ROM format.

World Book also published the "Animals of the World" encyclopedia on CD-ROM for Macintosh.
