Wudang Mountains

Why not sponsor a child for Christmas in 2008?
The Wudang Mountains (武當山; pinyin: wǔ dāng shān, also known as Wu Tang Shan or simply Wudang), are a small mountain range in the Hubei province of China, just to the south of the manufacturing city of Shiyan.

In years past, the mountains of Wudang were known for the many Taoist monasteries to be found there, and also became known as a center for the teaching and practice of traditional Chinese martial arts by the monks. Even today, the most common souvenir sold to Wudang tourists is the Chinese straight sword, or jian.
