Calculus

Time you got around to sponsoring a child
Many professionals use a system of math called Calculus to describe aspects of formulas such as slopes, volumes, and areas. Professionals knowing things like these helps us in real life because people use formulas to represent real life problems.

For example, we can make a function to describe the sun or Earth as a sphere. We can then use calculus to find the volume of that sphere we made to describe the sun or Earth. That volume will closely approximate the area of the sun or Earth.

Also, we noticed that when light hits something at an angle it will bounce off at a complementary angle. We made flashlights and lamps which shine light in certain directions by making the reflective parts look like curves in equations which make lines which act like light go in those directions.
